Interesting meeting last night and some interesting people standing for some of the positions. Lets hope they can all work together and not let egos get in the way Smile

Will be an interesting next few months till the AGM.

You guys think it is so easy i think the exec are making some good calls at the moment and i hope they all stand again and make all you wanabees look silly with your revolution.Wayne should stand again and sort you all out.

I'm sure those who are putting their hands up are aware of the hard work ahead of them and the changing of some attitutes will be hard but I beleive can be done.
Maybe not all the ideas will come off but as long as some postive moves are made to reverse some trends occuring now then it can only be a good thing.
At the very least people showing passion and the willingness (?? sure Rulebreaker will tell me if i've stuffed up again) to stand has to be a good thing

I understand there could be some positive changes if the revolutionaries take over. Ideas bandied about -

- shorter meetings (on Mondays or Wednesdays??)
- fundamentals e.g. strip/uniforms a priority
- comms gear bought and used
- AGM at Showgirls? Laughing

- Video refs at all games? Wink

Who do you reckon is safe James? I guess only time will tell.
If nothng else atleast it shows that people are still wanting to see the best people on the exec and the assoc moving forward

Saw and heard so major political talks and moves on Tuesday night, but will all of those actually come off. The power brokers all starting to shape up could be an interesting few weeks ahead and an AGM well worth attending

I too have heard the same as Broken Down a new power base in the wind. Will be very interested to see if it comes off and if they can make change happen.

I can understand some of the members frustrations with the executive but I agree with the comments here around putting up or shutting up. People need to stand if you want a change. It's not an easy job , it is voluntary and takes up alot of the time of the people who do it.
